Speaker Test
Play a tone in the left speaker, then the right. If both come from one side, the cable, Bluetooth pairing, or balance is wrong.
Set a safe volume. Left, then right, then center.
How to test speakers
Turn volume to a safe level first. Use Left, Right, then Center. A missing channel is usually a jack not fully seated, a blown driver, or stereo mix set to mono.

No sound at all?
Unmute the tab, OS output device, and hardware volume. Headphones may steal the output.
Can I test a soundbar?
Yes if it is the system default output. True surround beyond stereo depends on the device.
