Network tests and IP addresses
Our servers necessarily receive your IP address to deliver requests and protect the service. We do not create user profiles from IP addresses, include them in shareable links, or save uploaded speed-test payloads. Infrastructure providers may retain limited security logs for operational needs.
DNS lookups
A domain submitted to DNS Lookup is sent to our server so its public records can be resolved. It is not sent to analytics and is not used for advertising profiles.
Local history
Up to five recent speed results may be stored in localStorage on your device. This history is not synced to an account. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser storage.
Analytics and advertising
If configured, privacy-conscious GA4-compatible events may record tool views and completions without IP values, entered domains or precise test measurements. Advertising providers may use cookies subject to consent and their policies. Reserved ad spaces do not themselves load an ad provider.
Retention and choices
We keep only operational data genuinely required for reliability, abuse prevention and legal obligations, using provider retention controls where available. Browser controls can clear local data and limit cookies.
