How to test phone internet speed
Disable Wi-Fi to measure LTE or 5G. Enable Wi-Fi to measure the hotspot or home wireless. Hold the phone still, wait for a strong signal icon, then start the mobile speed test. Moving cars and elevators wreck the number.
