How this Square status page works
SpeedXG does not need an official partnership with Square. Visitors report failures, we fetch squareup.com, and we ingest a public status API when one is listed.
If reports jump from a handful per 15 minutes to many times that, the page marks a possible outage even when the marketing site still returns HTTP 200.
Rule out your connection with a free internet speed test and a ping test. If the line is fine, report the Square failure so others can see the spike.
